   I pray that God places me in a part of North America that I can attend Holy Mass offered by FSSP. Unfortunately I live in an area that would require that I travel a considerable distance to attend the Mass of my childhood. I have always felt a yearning for the Latin Liturgy having served Mass as an altar boy in the 1960′s. I have seen how ‘lowering the bar’ so to speak as allowed a total disrespect for the Eucharist as well as just being present in Church/in the presence of the Euchariust. Unfortunately it is difficult to find a Catholic Church that doesn’t look like and auditorium. Ironically the elderly parishoners talk loudly before Mass begins and I can only imagine that these were the same people that expected ‘their’ young children to remain quiet in church. When less is expected..less is given…I have seen the complete lack of respect for the Mass over the last 40 plus years…Thank God and the late great Blessed Pope John Paul II for providing us with the FSSP.
