The St. John Bosco Latin Mass Community recently took delivery of one beautiful statue of the Infant of Prague. The statue was meticulously crafted by artist, Chris Hart of Grant Pass, Oregon, from hand cast molds. Chris uses a technique dating back to the Italian Renaissance, including the use of tempera based paints and glazes, as well as gold leaf for certain ornamentation. Plans are underway for the blessing of the Infant by a priest from the Institute of Christ the King. Please stay tuned to www.uvcarmel.org for more details.
